Historically, apprenticeships have been an important part of creating & expanding our nation's middle class. And now, under ' economic blueprint, the economy is adding millions of good job and registered apprenticeships are making those jobs accessible to more workers.

#NAW2022 FACTS: ➡️The average starting wage after completing a Registered Apprenticeship program is $77,000 ➡️Workers who complete these programs earn an average of $300,000 more than workers in similar jobs ➡️93% of apprentices stay in the same job after completing the program

Earlier this week, I visited in Boise. Recently, Micron announced a $40 billion investment to manufacture memory chips in the U.S. – made possible by ' CHIPS and Science Act. Their new memory manufacturing sites will create 17,000+ new ID jobs & ~50,000 NY jobs.

A glimpse of our economic progress since took office: ☑️ Our economy has created 10 million jobs, including 700,000+ manufacturing jobs. ☑️ The unemployment rate remains near historic lows at 3.7%. ☑️ Gas prices have declined by an average of $1.22 per gallon.

With the support of $120 billion dollars from ' American Rescue Plan, the Biden-Harris administration is ensuring the next generation is building the skills necessary to fill high-paying jobs like those created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and CHIPS and Science Act.
